This is a question that I get all of the time, and I recently had the good fortune and priviledge to write an editorial on the subject for the Sunday Mail, Body and Soul Liftout (Sunday the 5th July 2015 edition).

These are yummy and can be made in advance and kept in the fridge, in a sealed container, to be eaten as a snack on the go!!

1 x cup of sultanas

1/2 cup Majool dates

1 x cup of dessicated coconut (and extra for rolling)

1/2 cup of Raw Organic Almonds

1/2 cup of Raw Organic Cashew Nuts

4 x tablespoons of Agave

2 x tablespoons of Coconut Oil

Blend all of the above ingredients together in a blender until the mixture comes together and holds and is not too sticky. If it is too wet, just add a little more of the dry ingredients and if it is too dry and crumbly, just add a little more coconut oil in teaspoons until you get the desired consistency.

Once it is holding together as a firm dough like substance, pull off small portions (about the size of a 20 cent piece) and roll in to balls, between your hands. Once done, roll them in some dessicated coconut and place in an airtight container and place in the fridge to firm up.
